The Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Zagreb is the oldest civil engineering faculty in Croatia conducting university education at an undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level in all branches of civil engineering. It is continually developing and advancing higher education, scientific research activities and overall education, and actively participates in the development of the profession and implementation of new technologies. The scientific work of the Faculty is carried out in the framework of national and international scientific projects, including projects that are dealing with research and development of new products, such as ECO-SANDWICH® wall panels.

Faculty is an institution of the higher education , the University of Zagreb, which conducts university studies, scientific, research, highly professional and artistic activities in the field of architecture and urbanism. With educational activities, Faculty deals with scientific research in the field of architecture and urban planning, professional activities in the field of architecture and urban planning, projects and studies, landscape architecture, investment-technical documentation, urbanistic and land use plans and other projects for highly specialized and complex programs in the fields of architecture and urban planning, protection and improvement in the human environment. Recent projects mostly supported by Intelligent Energy Europe (PASS-NET, INTENSE, IDES-EDU) and the seventh EU framework (PERFECTION) are confirmation of continuous research development.

EURCO is a company for construction, engineering and environment protection, specialized in demolition of industrial constructions, recycling of construction and demolition waste, rehabilitation of waste landfills and construction of new landfill facilities.Demolition of building is made by modern-tracked excavators, equipped with special hydraulic tools for cutting and crushing of concrete and cutting reinforcing bars. Construction nad demolation material is recycled in the mobile crushers and it can be reused for different purposes in the construction industry. EURCO Inc. is a member company of the EDA “European Demolition Association” since 2000, and was rated as 62nd biggest demolition contractor among top 100 biggest demolition and recycling companies in the world, by specialized newsletter “Demolition and Recycling International” (D&Ri), March / April 2009. Because of indisputable impact of the demolition projects on the environment, Eurco Inc. puts an accent on the systematic collection, recycling and utilization of the materials generated in the demolition.
